Natural pediatric sugar-free syrup for productive cough is an effective and safe remedy, formulated with natural ingredients, supporting the elimination of mucus accumulated in the respiratory tract, with expectorant action.

Indications:

• It can be administered in tracheitis, tracheobronchitis, pneumonia, residual cough.

Presentation:

• Cardboard box containing one 100 ml bottle, with a dosing spoon and package leaflet.

Composition:

• Sorbitol syrup 70%
•  Liquid extract from ivy leaves (Hedera helix)-6%
•  Liquid extract from ginger rhizomes (Zingiber officinale)-2%
•  Liquid extract from Cardamom seeds (Elettaria cardamomum)-2%
•  Extract apos din rizomi de Turmeric (Curcuma longa)*-2%
•  Orange flavour
• Potassium sorbate (preservative),
• Citric acid monohydrate (acidity regulator).

The role of ingredients:

Ivy extract:

Cardamom:

Mod de Administrare:

• Children 1-4 years: one teaspoon (5 ml) 2 times a day.
• Children 5-9 years: 2 teaspoons (10 ml) 2 times a day.
• Children over 9 years: 2 teaspoons (10 ml) 3 times a day.
• One teaspoon contains 5 ml (6.25 g), for 7-14 days

From an Ayurvedic perspective

According to Ayurvedic principles, health is maintained when the three Doshas – Vata, Pitta and Kapha – are in balance within a closed energy system.

During colds, such as rhinopharyngitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis or other conditions of the upper respiratory tract, the Kapha Dosha increases significantly, causing the accumulation of mucus and the sensation of congestion, while Vata increases slightly, accentuating cough and respiratory discomfort. At the same time, Pitta – the energy of fire and transformation – decreases, which weakens the body’s natural defense capacity.
