Quickly find answers about choosing the right product, how to administer, store, and use it.
01 What are the advantages compared to other syrups?
The entire range was developed by Dr. Mihail Lungu Petru, a pediatrician and family doctor, based on his own formula, after more than 20 years of medical experience. The syrups are manufactured in a GMP-certified facility (Good Manufacturing Practice), which guarantees high standards of quality and safety. The formula was created based on the real needs encountered in everyday medical practice.
02 What should I use to support my child’s immunity?
Thanks to its natural ingredients, TusiFix Dry also supports the child’s immunity. Ginger helps stimulate the immune response, turmeric has an antioxidant effect and supports the body’s natural defense mechanisms, while blackcurrant, rich in antioxidants and vitamin C, helps strengthen the immune system.
03 If my child has both a dry and a productive cough, which of the two syrups should I use?
In the morning, the cough may be productive because secretions accumulate in the airways during the night. However, if the cough becomes predominantly dry and irritating during the day, TusiFix Dry is recommended. It should be used until the cough disappears or, if the cough becomes productive throughout the day, you can switch to TusiFix Productive.
04 Can the syrups be given only to children?
Although the syrups are registered as pediatric syrups, they can also be used by adults. The recommended dose for adults is 15 ml 2–3 times a day, depending on their needs (applicable to the entire range).
05 What is the difference between Tusifix Dry and Tusifix Productive?
Tusifix Dry is recommended for dry, irritating coughs without secretions, helping to soothe throat irritation and coughing fits. Tusifix Productive is recommended for productive coughs with secretions, helping to thin and clear mucus from the airways. The syrup should be selected according to the type of cough.
06 Can they be taken together with other treatments recommended by a doctor?
Yes, in general, all the syrups can be taken together with other treatments recommended by a doctor. However, for safety, it is recommended that you inform your doctor or pharmacist about all the products being given to the child.
